Interior Designer
Job Summary:
The Interior Designer is responsible for developing and executing complex interior design assignments for residential and commercial spaces.
Responsibilities:

Conceptualize and develop creative design solutions: Translate client wishes into tangible plans using sketches, mood boards, and 3D software to visualize your ideas. Prepares and conducts client presentations.

Focus on functionality: Gather and use project information for space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, lighting, and color coordination.

Promote innovative design: Incorporate sustainable design solutions and other aesthetic, innovative design techniques that are reflective of client goals and within the project budget.

Documentation: Prepare, correct, and update documents throughout all design phases.

Select and source materials and furnishings: Find the perfect finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories to bring your vision to life, staying within budget and adhering to design principles.

Manage projects and ensure seamless execution: Collaborate with contractors, architects, and vendors to oversee project timelines, manage budgets, and troubleshoot any challenges.

Stay abreast of design trends and innovations: Continuously learn and adapt to keep your designs fresh, relevant, and in line with industry standards.

Build strong relationships with clients and vendors: Cultivate trust and communication to ensure client/vendor satisfaction and exceed expectations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field

At least three years of experience in interior design

Strong understanding of interior design principles and practices

Proficient in CAD software programs (AutoCad, SketchUp) and the Adobe Creative Suites

Proficient in construction documentation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and accuracy

Project management skills
